Software Engineer - Set-Top Box Driver Development
Responsibilities:
• Software analysis and design
• Write technical documents, such as Function Spec
• Implement, test and maintain the STB native level software
• Work with team members to integrate and test software components
• Interact with external engineers to integrate and test software components, resolve technical problems, fix bugs
• Travel and on-site support customer
Requirements:
• 5+ year software developing experience
• Strong knowledge in C/C++
• Knowledge in Unix/
Linux is required. Knowledge in DVB standard and CAS is a plus.
• Knowledge of embedded system/real time system developing, driver programming.
• Knowledge of source code control, experience with
CVS and Perforce is a plus.
• Experience with compilers, build environments
• Fluency in English, both writing and verbal
• Basic Japanese language skill will be a plus.
• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, EE or equivalent
